Job summary

Terra Global is seeking an experienced GHG Quantification and Mangrove Specialist for Nature-based Solutions (NbS). This remote, full-time role focuses on carbon accounting, statistical modeling, and mangrove/wetland ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in data collection, analysis, and interpretation of natural ecosystems, with emphasis on mangroves, and strong Python and Excel skills. Travel to remote sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Background quantifying GHG emissions in successful carbon projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and review of blue carbon projects focused on mangroves and tidal wetlands.
• Evaluate predictive models and statistical tools to forecast carbon emissions.
• Visit remote project sites to verify field data for forest-based carbon projects.
• Support multiple international projects with on-time and within-budget delivery.
