Terra Global Capital is seeking a GHG Quantification and Mangrove Specialist for Nature-based Solutions. Remote work is possible with a requirement to align with North America Pacific time.

The role emphasizes data collection, statistical modeling, and biometrics, with a strong focus on mangrove and other tidal wetlands, and requires experience in carbon accounting and AFOLU project methodologies.

Qualifications

• Background quantifying GHG emissions in carbon projects following market standards.
• Applied understanding of wetland hydrology, sediment accretion and erosion, water table dynamics, salinity, and soil carbon accounting.
• Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools, such as Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and review of blue carbon projects focused on mangroves and tidal wetlands.
• Develop predictive models and statistical tools to forecast carbon emissions and sequestration.
• Visit remote project sites and verify field data for forest-based carbon projects.
