Job summary

Encore Bank is seeking a Debit Card Operations Lead to serve as the subject matter expert for all debit card services. You will oversee daily operations, including disputes, fraud monitoring, card maintenance, digital wallets, and reconciliations.

This role supports the Head of Debit Card Operations and acts as a backup for critical processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and network rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of debit card and/or deposit operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of debit card operations, disputes, and chargeback processes.
• Familiarity with Visa rules, Reg E, and card network requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process and review debit card requests (ordering, issuance, activation, maintenance).
• Serve as primary operational resource and SME for debit card products and processes.
• Assist Head of Debit Card Operations with daily workflow and operation oversight.
• Provide guidance and training on policies, procedures, and system functions.
• Perform settlement reconciliations related to dispute lifecycle and chargebacks.
• Support investigations of fraud and non-fraud disputes and ensure regulatory timeframes.
• Maintain audit trails and documentation for limit adjustments and exceptions.
