Job summary

Athene is seeking a VP of Sales for Defined Contribution to drive sales of Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to retirement advisors in an assigned territory. You will work with recordkeeper partners and field teams to grow adoption and hit annual targets.

Candidates bring 10+ years in retirement plan sales, deep advisor networks, ERISA knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with product and investment specialists.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales or relevant experience.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA and defined contribution markets.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera DC offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and presenter engagements.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings and campaigns.
• Use CRM data and market insights to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
• Collaborate with Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage and win together.
