Athene is hiring a VP Sales, Defined Contribution to drive Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income sales to retirement advisors across a national territory. This senior role reports to the Head of DC Wealth Distribution and involves substantial travel and leadership across teams.

We seek established relationships with retirement plan advisors, strong knowledge of the defined contribution market, and expertise in private assets or guaranteed income.

Formación

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales or related experience.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams.
• Strong command of advisor-led and recordkeeper channels.
• Knowledge of defined contribution market, ERISA fundamentals, and expertise in private assets or guaranteed income.
• Strong presentation skills, judgment, and adaptability.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Drive sales of Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to retirement advisors in an assigned territory; travel 70%+.
• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams; convert partnerships to local adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, milestones, and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations with product support.
• Collaborate with Apollo’s Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage and share market insights.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Use CRM data and market intelligence to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
