Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture seeks a Senior DC Operations Manager to lead a team of operations and facilities managers, ensuring targets are met and workflows balanced across all warehouse departments.

The role partners with the Building Director to plan for annual cycles and business needs, driving KPI improvements through data-driven decisions while maintaining a culture of safety, high housekeeping standards, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – preferred.
• 6+ years of senior leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience maintaining budget and targeted expenses by reviewing monthly P&L, Capex expenditures and invoicing; driving continuous improvement to exceed budgeted P&L metrics.
• Experience managing teams and people; performance management, succession planning and development.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and working with third party labor partners.
• Proven data-driven decision making and problem solving.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of operations and facilities managers to meet operational targets and balance workloads across warehouse departments.
• Prepare for multiple business cycles in partnership with the Building Director and peers.
• Drive KPI improvements through data-driven decisions and ensure safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support budgeting processes and capital planning with cross-functional partners.
