Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture seeks a DC Operations Manager to lead the distribution center's salaried Area Managers and their hourly teams, driving safety, quality, and performance to fulfill customer commitments with Bob’s core values.

You will partner with peer Operations Managers and senior leadership to shape departmental strategy, build leadership bench, and sustain operational excellence across multiple teams and shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations experience with supervisory duties.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and motivate salaried leaders and their teams.
• Oversee safety, quality, and productivity to meet customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate performance and conduct employee reviews.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape departmental strategy.
• Define roles, priorities and success metrics for leaders.
• Monitor department performance using KPIs.
