Job summary

Air Products Inc. is seeking an experienced Large Assembly Production Supervisor (Days) for our St. Louis Membrane Solutions facility.

You will lead a team of 20–24 production technicians and team leads on a day shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality assembly of air separation modules for aerospace, nitrogen, and process gas applications. The role requires strong leadership, mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication skills (face-to-face and written).
• Troubleshooting proficiency and ownership of issues.
• Drive to improve operational execution and maintain high standards.
• Attention to detail essential for quality and safety.
• Familiarity with EHS guidelines and ISO 9001 quality systems preferred.
• Lean, Root Cause Analysis, and CI tools helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all personnel in the assigned work center and lead safety initiatives.
• Maintain product quality and AS9100 compliance at assembly and test points.
• Achieve production schedule targets for the shift and coordinate with planning.
• Develop production team capabilities and coach team leads.
• Execute high-quality shift handoffs to the night shift supervisor.
• Support growth, onboarding, and new product introductions with cross-functional teams.
• Lead continuous improvement activities in safety, quality, and productivity.
