Job summary

Air Products seeks an Assembly Production Manager to lead membrane module assembly operations at the St. Louis facility. You will oversee safe, efficient, and quality-compliant assembly and testing for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

The role requires strong leadership of ~90 staff across shifts, disciplined problem solving, and collaboration with Engineering and Quality. Excellent safety focus and continuous improvement experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing, production, or assembly leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, AS9100 or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-shift production activities across multiple assembly lines to meet throughput and on-time delivery goals.
• Drive quality excellence by maintaining rigorous assembly/testing/documentation standards with AS9100 compliance.
• Lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects.
• Develop, mentor, and manage a workforce of ~90 employees including supervisors and team leads.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Commercial, Planning, and Product Development to support requirements and new product introductions.
• Identify productivity opportunities, reduce waste, and improve manufacturing efficiency using Lean and data-driven decisions.
• Support capacity expansion with workforce planning, onboarding, training, and certification programs.
• Oversee tooling, test equipment, and Equipment Reliability to meet uptime targets.
