Job summary

Foley is seeking a senior database engineer to own reliability, performance, and availability of our production databases. You will lead administration and optimization of Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon Redshift environments, and design HA/DR strategies to meet SLAs.

You will partner with Data, Analytics, Infrastructure, and Security teams to support reporting, analytics, and AI use cases, while ensuring security and compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing production database environments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning, indexing, and HA/DR.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data warehouse technologies, including Amazon Redshift.

Responsibilities

• Own database reliability, performance, and availability.
• Lead administration, monitoring, tuning, and optimization of SQL Server and Redshift environments.
• Design and maintain high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Partner with Data and Analytics teams to support reporting and AI use cases.
• Manage database security and access controls across platforms.
