RegEd is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to maintain and upgrade our database ecosystems, spanning on‑premises and Azure cloud environments. You will design objects, optimize performance, and respond to incidents while aligning with architecture and security standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years database analysis, programming or similar experience.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Senior Database Developer or equivalent.
• Extensive hands-on experience in SQL 2016 and higher.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based database systems in Azure.
• Experience writing complex database procedures, functions and triggers.
• Understanding of execution plans and dynamic SQL.
• Proven ability to optimize OLTP/OLAP databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain database objects across on-premises and cloud databases.
• Drive database performance optimization and SQL tuning.
• Lead incident resolution and database monitoring infrastructure.
• Enforce coding standards for stored procedures and schema design.
• Collaborate with Architecture and QA to define data solutions.
• Support data retention, archiving, and security requirements.
