Job summary

Popular Democracy is seeking a Senior Data and Technology Manager to administer key systems and support affiliate data requests. This is a full-time, exempt role that may require travel to the DC office and other locations nationwide.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with EveryAction/NGPVAN, strong data management skills, and a track record of training non-technical staff in English and Spanish. Expect collaboration across the Data and Technology team and affiliates.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with EveryAction and/or NGPVAN MyCampaign.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is preferred but not required.
• Past experience in a base building organization and belief in the power of organizing.
• Experience creating and delivering trainings for users and the ability to train and communicate technical concepts with non-technical people across lines of difference, in both English and Spanish.
• The ability to have patience and understanding when supporting non-technical staff.
• Demonstrated experience in data management including wrangling large datasets, data quality control and cleaning.
• Creative problem-solving and client-service mindset.
• Willingness to learn new tools like Salesforce, Mobilize, Hustle and other movement tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teammates to lead day-to-day administration of the EveryAction instance to best serve program needs.
• Work with supervisor and teammates to maintain operational technology.
• Respond to data and tech requests from staff and affiliate network.
• Train and support affiliate staff in the use of EveryAction and data architecture.
• Ensure data integrity and de-duplication across systems.
• Administer CRM and data systems (EveryAction, Salesforce, BigQuery, CARTO, movement tools).
• Build system capacity across the network via training materials and programs.
• Other related duties as needed.
