Job summary

The Working Families Party seeks a Data Manager to power data-driven organizing across campaigns and states. You will own the data side of core organizing tools such as EveryAction, VAN, Votivate, Scale to Win, and Mobilize, balancing backend administration with frontline stakeholder collaboration.

Based in the Data Department, you’ll lead QA/QC for data, write SQL against BigQuery, and develop training and documentation to help organizers cleanly generate and upload data.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working for candidate campaigns and movement organizations in data roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the in-house data expert for organizing tools (EveryAction, Mobilize, VAN, Votivate, Scale to Win).
• Develop data systems, structures, templates, and documentation for organizers to enter, modify, and retrieve data.
• Own Party data infrastructure and governance including endorsement and elected official processes.
• Write SQL queries to answer inquiries across programmatic areas and provide actionable data visualizations and reporting.
• Train and support organizers on data tools and coordinate with teams for advanced training.
• Collaborate with Engineering to create data models and new integrations.
