The Working Families Party is seeking a Data Manager to own data systems for our core organizing tools such as EveryAction, VAN, Votivate, and Mobilize. You will ensure data integrity, build scalable processes, and support organizers with hands-on data guidance.

You’ll work in a highly collaborative, multi-state environment, conducting QA/QC, training teams, and developing data models while coordinating with the Analytics Director for prioritization and strategy.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years in data roles for campaigns or movement orgs.
• Experience administering electoral software (VAN, EveryAction, Mobilize).
• Strong SQL and BigQuery skills for political data contexts.
• Advanced use of Google Sheets or Airtable in organizing work.
• Familiarity with national voterfile products and scoring.
• Experience with data visualization for reporting (Data Studio, Hex, etc).
• Ability to lead data projects from scoping to maintenance.
• Analytical mindset to troubleshoot technical and stakeholder issues.
• Attention to detail and data-driven design.

Responsabilidades

• Own data systems across organizing tools and ensure data maintenance.
• Develop templates and processes for entering, modifying, and retrieving data.
• Maintain core Party infrastructure data and ensure timely data collection.
• Implement QA/QC processes and standardized data views.
• Act as main data contact for organizers through ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot data challenges and train staff on tool data usage.
• Set up API integrations between tools (e.g., VAN and Scale to Win).
• Provide capacity to enter, modify, and retrieve data for teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Analytics to prioritize improvements.
