Job summary

Popular Democracy is seeking a Development Operations Associate to support the Development Team and coordinate fundraising operations across donor data systems. The role focuses on maintaining donor records, processing gifts, and producing reports across Salesforce and EveryAction.

This non-exempt, full-time position may include travel to affiliates and occasional office days in DC. The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce and EveryAction, strong communication skills, and the

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Salesforce and EveryAction is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent recordkeeping, calendar management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage gift-processing and revenue-tracking systems, ensuring accurate donations.
• Produce routine and customized Salesforce reports and audit data.
• Serve as the first contact for donor inquiries, handling calls and emails.
• Support donor cultivation by maintaining donor records and notes.
• Coordinate Development operations, calendars, folders, and team retreats.
• Manage renewal applications for charitable solicitation and corporate registrations.
• Support grant-seeking with funder research and submissions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Communications, Data and others to advance fundraising.
• Travel to affiliates and events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
