Job summary

America Needs You (ANY) is seeking a Senior Manager, Data & Impact to lead program data, impact measurement, evaluation, and reporting. You will partner with staff across departments to ensure data are collected, analyzed, and used to strengthen programs and transparently communicate impact.

You will drive data governance, dashboards, and insightful narratives for Fellows, mentors, staff, and funders, while upholding ethical data practices and confidentiality in a national nonprofit context.

Qualifications

• Significant nonprofit data management, program evaluation, or related field experience.
• Ownership of data/reporting processes spanning multiple teams.
• Hands-on Salesforce experience with reports, dashboards, and data imports.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, and SQL for data extraction.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Formal training in quantitative research methods with capability to conduct regression analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis to identify trends, disparities, risks, and opportunities and advise actions.
• Facilitate regular data reviews and learning cycles with program teams and leadership.
• Track decisions, owners, and next steps from data-driven discussions.
• Help teams decide what to continue, change, or discontinue and assess results.
• Develop evaluation approaches aligned with the Theory of Change and strategic priorities.
• Design and manage surveys, focus groups, and interviews; synthesize findings with quantitative results.
• Oversee data governance, definitions, and quality standards across departments.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, and narratives for internal and external audiences.
