Job summary

Working Families Party is seeking a Data Manager to own the data systems powering our organizing software, including EveryAction, VAN, Votivate, and Mobilize. You will ensure data integrity, build scalable processes, and train organizers in data best practices.

You will collaborate with the Analytics and Engineering teams to prioritize data needs across campaigns, write efficient SQL queries, and deliver actionable reporting that supports multi‑state organizing efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in data roles within campaigns or movement work.
• Experience administering electoral software tools (VAN, EveryAction, Mobilize).
• Proficient in SQL and BigQuery for political data needs.
• Experience with Google Sheets or Airtable in organizing contexts.
• Familiarity with national voterfile products (TargetSmart, Catalist, L2).
• Experience with data visualization platforms (Data Studio, Hex, etc.).
• End-to-end data project lifecycle: scoping, design, implementation, maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-house data expert for organizing tools and design data structures.
• Own data maintenance and documentation across systems used by organizers.
• Ensure data is clean, well-documented, and a single source of truth.
• Develop QA processes and standardized data generation across tools.
