Job summary

CapTech Ventures is seeking a Senior Data Leader to drive strategic data initiatives for enterprise clients. You will provide technical and project leadership, guiding data architecture, governance, and real-time data delivery across cloud platforms.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and translate business goals into actionable data solutions within a fast-paced consulting environment. Remote-friendly with on-site client work as needed.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of leading large technical teams and projects.
• 10+ years implementing on-premises and cloud data platforms and technologies.
• Proven track record of assessing traditional and modern data architectures.
• Experience with modern data stack/platform technologies.
• Delivery experience on multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on with real-time data distribution (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink) and NoSQL/warehousing.
• 5+ years of scoping technical engagements within consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for global client data initiatives and delivery.
• Interface with client technology and business leaders for technical and project direction.
• Turn vague concepts into actionable insights to maximize client data value.
• Advise on data management technologies and target architecture state.
• Formulate architectural trade-offs and ensure requirements are met.
• Mentor and develop team members and influence consulting skills.
• Collaborate with portfolio teams to plan work and staffing.
