Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in the Data Security group. You will serve as a trusted advisor to account teams and customers, delivering People-Centric security solutions across data security, insider risk, and POC engagements.

You will collaborate with Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure customer success. The role requires strategic technical leadership, demonstration of the Data Security portfolio, and travel as needed to engage clients in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven track record selling solutions as a Sales Engineer or related areas.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity market landscape and competition.
• Experience with security solutions such as DLP, CASB, Insider Threat, Endpoint Security.

Responsibilities

• Drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales specialists to develop targeted account strategies.
• Be the main technical point of contact with customers throughout the process.
• Lead technical discovery, POC planning, execution and wrap-up.
