Job summary
Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in the Data Security Group (DSG) to act as a trusted advisor and technical lead in the pre-sales process. You will specialize in Data Security and Insider Risk, guiding customers through discovery, POC, and production evaluations, and you’ll partner with specialist account teams to drive solutions tailored to customer needs.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience selling solutions as a Sales Engineer or related role.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Technical Lead for the Pre-Sales process in Proofpoint's DSG.
- Drive high levels of customer satisfaction throughout engagements.
- Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Account Teams on targeted account penetration.
- Be the main technical contact with customers from discovery to POC and production evaluations.
- Design and champion complex, data-centric security solutions across DLP, Insider Risk, and DSPM.
- Support professional services deployments and participate in trainings and industry events.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing to improve solutions.
