Vantor is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead development of statistical and machine learning models for the FALCON effort. Remote work is allowed within the continental United States.

The role focuses on detecting kinematic behaviors from live and historical data and building simulations to guide the development team in analytics integration. You will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to build and sustain applications and data pipelines that transform

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience (or a Bachelor's with 10+ years).
• Current Top Secret security clearance and/or CBP/DHS suitability.
• Strong Python knowledge and libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, scipy).
• Experience processing/cleaning and analyzing time series and/or geospatial data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of analytic solutions to meet customer needs.
• Enhance existing analytic solutions for quality and performance.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to create a common operating picture.
• Develop and apply statistical analyses and scoring metrics to evaluate algorithms.
• Create training and test datasets from multiple sources to improve algorithms.
