Job summary

Spring Health is a global mental health company hiring a Senior Data Scientist for the Advanced Analytics team. You will lead analytical strategy for Spring Practice, apply AI, and work with product, design, and engineering to improve engagement and outcomes.

This is a full-time remote role with occasional travel. We seek 5+ years in data science, strong SQL/Python, dbt experience, and excellence in communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data science experience.
• Hands-on experimentation, hypothesis testing, and quasi-experimental methods.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python.
• Experience modeling data with dbt or similar tools.
• Experience with data visualization/BI tools (Omni, Hex).
• Experience with product development and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to guide business partners.
• Ability to incorporate AI to solve complex business problems; including prompt engineering for LLMs and AI-assisted code/docs.
• Ability to manage priorities and dependencies in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguous problems and learn new approaches.
• Willingness to travel at least 2 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical strategy for Care: end-to-end analytics to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Design and execute rapid experimentation to test and scale improvements in Spring Practice.
• Serve as embedded data scientist within the Care pod, aligning roadmap and success metrics.
• Work with large multi-source data; perform feature engineering and collaborate with analytic engineers.
