Job summary

Spring Health is hiring a Senior Data Analyst within the Business Intelligence organization to partner with Medical Affairs. You will define KPIs, build dashboards, and translate technical insights into clinician-friendly language.

You will work with data scientists, analytics engineers, and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making. You will lead analytics projects, ensure data integrity, and empower non-technical users to monitor outcomes and provider quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data, data visualization, and dashboards.
• Expert in SQL; familiar with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
• Experience with Omni, Hex or Tableau-like tools.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Define, refine, and scale key metrics and KPIs with the Medical Affairs program.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations in BI tools to monitor outcomes and provider quality.
• Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc analyses to answer business and clinical questions.
• Identify trends and gaps and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Support data integrity by contributing to dbt models and scalable data structures.
• Collaborate with data, product, and engineering to ensure access to data sources.
• Serve as data advisor to Medical Affairs leadership and inform strategic initiatives.
• Partner with data science to analyze major trends and drivers.
• Provide training and documentation for dashboards and data products.
• Ensure accurate reporting and data alignment across stakeholders.
• Maintain core data models in dbt and ensure consistency.
• Apply AI-forward approaches to drive clinical and operational insights.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and communicate status via Jira/Slack.
