Job summary

ICA.ai seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design and deliver data science and AI solutions for healthcare and regulated environments. You will own end-to-end delivery from problem definition to production and work toward obtaining a Public Trust Clearance.

The role emphasizes strong Python/SQL skills, unstructured data processing, and collaboration with clients and technical teams within a remote EST-aligned setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science or related field.
• Significant hands-on experience delivering data science or ML systems beyond prototypes.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with foundation in statistics, ML, experimentation, and data analysis.
• Experience working with unstructured data, such as documents and NLP, or LLM-based workflows.
• Ownership of technically complex projects from data decisions to production deployment.
• Understanding of data quality and extraction errors impact on downstream models.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, government, or regulated industries preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver ML, analytics, NLP, and generative-AI solutions on structured and unstructured data.
• Develop multi-stage workflows transforming raw data into actionable outputs.
• Build and evaluate downstream DS solutions including predictive models and decision-support workflows.
• Establish rigorous data quality, evaluation, validation, monitoring, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with teams, domain experts, clients, and leadership to translate requirements into solutions.
