Job summary

Chime is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist, Organic Growth to measure, optimize, and scale how SEO, ASO, and content affect member acquisition and value. You will partner with the Organic Growth team to plan investments, forecast traffic and conversions, and build models that quantify incremental impact across surfaces.

The role offers a base salary starting at $133,000 and up to $185,000, with bonus eligibility, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Base may vary by location and experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in organic growth channels (SEO, ASO, content) and in marketing, growth, or product analytics.
• Experience with organic growth planning and opportunity sizing: estimate required investment, traffic and unit economics.
• Forecasting experience for a marketing or growth channel: modeling and communicating forecast uncertainty.
• Strong experience designing and evaluating incrementality tests: SEO split tests, app store experiments, geo tests, paid holdouts.
• Working knowledge of causal inference methods including experiment design and holdout analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Define KPIs and measurement frameworks across surfaces — SEO pages, content hubs, app store listings.
• Size and scope organic growth initiatives with teams in marketing, product, engineering, and finance.
• Build forecasting models projecting impressions, sessions, and downstream LTV under scenarios.
• Develop attribution approaches reconciling platform data with observed behavior, including branded vs. non-branded and paid–organic overlap.
• Design and analyze SEO split tests and app store experiments to quantify incremental lift and cannibalization.
• Build dashboards showing rankings, impression share, traffic, funnel conversion, and downstream metrics.
