Job summary

Chime is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist, Referrals to measure how referral investments drive member growth and long-term value. You will model spend, forecast outcomes, and build attribution frameworks for dual-sided incentives, partnering with Marketing, Product, and Finance.

You will design geo experiments, develop scalable dashboards, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership, with a focus on privacy-aware measurement and cross-device challenges.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in referrals, marketing growth, or product analytics; FinTech preferred.
• Campaign sizing and spend planning aligned to business goals.
• Forecasting for marketing channels and scenario analysis.
• Strong incrementality test design: geo experiments and holdouts.
• Knowledge of causal inference and separating organic vs incentive effects.
• Proficient in SQL and Python or R; experienced in BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Referrals to define KPIs and measurement frameworks.
• Size and scope referral campaigns with cross-functional teams.
• Build forecasting models for acquisition, cost, and LTV.
• Develop attribution approaches reconciling platforms with observed behavior.
• Design geo experiments and lift studies to quantify incremental impact.
• Create dashboards for spend, CAC, funnel, and downstream LTV.
