Job summary

Qualifications

• Models in production with deployment, monitoring, and retraining experience.
• Statistical depth with uncertainty quantification and justification of methods.
• Strong Python/SQL skills and reproducible, tested pipelines; Snowflake preferred.
• Experience with messy healthcare data and causal inference and evaluation design.
• Ability to ship features from open-ended goals in collaboration with product and engineering.
• Judgement under constraint; explain tradeoffs and defend solutions.
• Clear communication with clinical, product, and leadership audiences about uncertainty and risks.
• Curiosity for new methods; able to evaluate before adoption.
• Degree in statistics/biostatistics/CS/economics or equivalent capability.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, validation, and production operation of predictive models in Snowflake.
• Set methodological standards; document decisions for stakeholders and reviewers.
• Write production-quality code; ensure deployment, monitoring, and reproducibility.
• Estimate impact of Medbridge products on patient outcomes using varied methods.
• Turn ambiguous goals into well-posed problems and shepherd models into the product.
