Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for the Slack Business Data Science team. You will drive growth insights by partnering with cross-functional teams and delivering impactful analyses that influence leadership decisions. Strong communication, statistical expertise, and hands-on modelling are essential.

The role collaborates with Data Engineering, Go-To-Market, and PDE to build scalable data models and self-serve analytics tools that empower stakeholders to act on data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional industry experience doing quantitative analysis.
• BS degree in a quantitative field; MS/PhD is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Slack Growth teams to understand drivers of the business and accelerate growth.
• Synthesize insights into narratives and present to senior leadership.
• Develop frameworks for identifying patterns/trends in customer behavior.
• Build self-service tools and reports to drive awareness of key metrics.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to power data analyses.
