Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a remote, full-time role focused on Generative AI and machine learning. You will design, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions across enterprise applications in a healthcare-related data ecosystem.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, product, and business stakeholders, with hands-on work on LLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, and scalable Python services. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML in production environments.
• Strong Python programming with modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic AI systems.
• Strong ML foundations, algorithms, and scalable software design.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML solutions for large-scale enterprise apps.
• Build and deploy production-ready ML and Generative AI systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Apply advanced analytics to ambiguous business challenges.
