Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is partnering with a rapidly growing global data and analytics organization undergoing a major AI transformation initiative across its business and product ecosystem. This Senior Data Scientist role is remote and full-time, focusing on Generative AI, NLP, and production-ready AI/ML systems.

You will design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and mentor junior staff to advance enterprise AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience across modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and agentic AI systems.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, algorithms, system design, and scalable software development.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills within cross-functional environments.
• Experience building enterprise-scale AI/ML products or platforms.
• Background within healthcare, pharma, or life sciences environments.
• Exposure to AWS technologies including Bedrock, SageMaker, ECS, and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Build and deploy production-ready machine learning and Generative AI systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to ambiguous business challenges.
• Develop scalable Python-based AI/ML applications and services.
• Evaluate and implement modern AI techniques including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Contribute to system architecture, experimentation, and model optimization.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical best practices.
• Stay current with evolving AI technologies and frameworks.
