Job summary

Chime is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to serve as the analytics partner to its Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy teams. You’ll build a holistic view of the business, connect member growth and product usage to financial metrics, and help shape disclosures and earnings materials with rigorous analysis.

You’ll work across Finance, Product, Marketing, Risk, and Operations to align metrics, explain drivers, and deliver high-stakes analyses on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience delivering analyses for an executive audience.
• Experience in management consulting, investment banking, or similar analytical roles before moving into data.
• Strong financial acumen: fluency in financial statements, unit economics, and KPIs used by investors.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with cross-source reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Build a holistic, company-wide view of performance connecting growth, engagement, and product use to key metrics.
• Partner with Investor Relations to turn data into earnings materials and disclosures.
• Be an arbiter of truth with data; ensure externally shared metrics are defined and consistent.
• Explain why metrics move; spot trends and turn findings into clear narratives for senior leaders.
• Collaborate with Corporate Strategy on high-visibility projects with strategic impact.
• Work across Finance, Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations and other analytics teams.
• Deliver high-stakes analyses on tight timelines during earnings cycles.
• Build reusable data models and reporting to answer recurring questions efficiently.
