Job summary

Chime is seeking a Strategic Finance Senior Associate to join the Finance team and help shape business strategy through unit economics, ROI analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work with Product, Analytics, Risk, Growth, Accounting, and Corporate Finance on high-impact initiatives.

The role emphasizes driving forecasting accuracy, KPI development, and strategic recommendations, with strong communication to executives and exposure to board materials.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or BI; fintech background a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business/finance/economics
• Experience building driver-based forecasts with validation of drivers and variance analysis
• Excel/Google Sheets: scalable, auditable models with clear assumptions
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization
• Ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity
• Experience leveraging AI/automation to scale finance workflows and improve forecasting

Responsibilities

• Support development of unit economic frameworks to evaluate ROI of products and initiatives
• Evaluate economic viability and strategy for new and emerging products
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Analytics, and Marketing to advise on financial impact
• Own forecasts using Pigment and present insights to executives
• Contribute to board/investor materials and external disclosures
• Partner with Analytics to build dashboards and KPIs to track product health
• Drive efficiency by adopting AI/automation to speed close-to-forecast processes
