Job summary

Chime is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to lead forecasting and performance insights for growth and revenue drivers. This role sets the forecasting strategy, runs scenario planning, and partners with Senior Leadership across Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure scalable forecasting capabilities.

You’ll own dashboards and self‑serve analytics, mentor analysts, and communicate KPI narratives with clarity to drive decisions and accountability across the company.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in strategic finance, forecasting/FP&A, or similar analytical finance role.
• Track record of leading forecasting and planning workstreams and influencing senior leaders.
• Deep fluency in financial metrics, unit economics, and performance measurement.
• Strong modeling and analytical skills; connect operational drivers to financial outcomes.
• Advanced SQL and spreadsheet modeling; Python or R proficiency for reproducible analysis.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end forecasting strategy and operating rhythm for core business and financial drivers.
• Define and evolve forecasting frameworks, templates, processes, and documentation across teams.
• Drive scenario planning and investment tradeoffs with senior leaders.
• Create performance narratives for KPIs and unit economics for leadership.
• Be the arbiter of truth for forecasting, aligning stakeholders and improving analytical rigor.
• Scale insights and tooling with dashboards and self‑serve analytics (Looker/Tableau/Pigment, SQL/Python/R pipelines).
• Develop talent by mentoring managers/analysts and setting modeling standards.
