Job summary

Coinbase seeks a Senior Data Scientist for the CX Consumer Analytics team to link support interactions with revenue and business outcomes. You will own attribution models, design causal experiments, and build NLP/LMM pipelines to improve retention, product adoption, and automation quality.

You will partner with CX Analytics Engineers, PMs, and Product teams to translate data into executive-ready insights and measurable improvements, while applying responsible AI practices in daily workflows.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field with 5+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years
• Experience building revenue attribution or causal impact models in a consumer-facing/operational analytics context
• Proficiency with A/B testing, causal inference, and ML for real-world problems with production-grade rigor
• Experience deploying LLM-based classification or NLP pipelines for customer-facing use cases
• Ability to translate complex model outputs into clear narratives for executives and product
• Responsible use of generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve CX's Downstream Impact of Support revenue calibration models.
• Design and run causal inference frameworks and experiments measuring CX programs' impact.
• Build and maintain LLM-powered classification pipelines for CX contact taxonomy and issue attribution.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and Product teams to define segmentation models and signals.
• Ensure statistical rigor and governance for analyses and model outputs for executive reporting.
