Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer on the GFCO Analytics Engineering team to build data foundations and scalable analytics for CX and compliance operations. You will own end-to-end data models, design experiments, and apply ML techniques to impact customer experience.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions, shape standards, and deliver dashboards that reduce time-to-insight while maintaining statistical rigor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering with production pipelines and dimensional models.
• Advanced SQL and Python for data models, pipelines, and ML deployment.
• Experience designing A/B tests and causal inference with rigor for executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own design, build, and maintenance of production data pipelines and analytics products.
• Develop self-serve dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or Hex for CX stakeholders.
• Design and execute causal inference frameworks and quasi-experiments to measure CX impact.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Lead deep-dive analyses using Bayesian methods and time-series analyses to identify opportunities.
• Shape analytics engineering standards and testing frameworks for data quality.
