Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer in the GFCO Analytics Engineering team to build data foundations and ML-powered analytics for customer experience and compliance operations.

You’ll own end-to-end data models, experiments, and causal measurement frameworks to inform decisions for millions of customers. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and drive a long-term analytics roadmap while maintaining high data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data science, or data engineering with hands-on ownership of production data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency applied to data model development and ML model deployment.
• Experience designing and executing A/B tests, quasi-experiments, and causal inference methods with rigor for reporting and compliance.
• Proven success building production-grade dashboards and self-serve analytics in Looker/Tableau/Hex or similar.
• Experience applying ML techniques to operational problems in compliance or regulatory domains.

Responsibilities

• Own design, build, and maintenance of production data pipelines and analytics products.
• Develop self-service dashboards and AI-assisted analytics tools to reduce time-to-insight.
• Design and run causal inference frameworks and quasi-experiments to measure CX program impact.
• Translate business needs into scalable data solutions and manage an analytics roadmap.
• Lead deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities improving customer outcomes and compliance posture.
• Shape analytics engineering standards and testing frameworks for data quality and rigor.
