Job summary

Coinbase seeks a Staff Data Scientist on the Data Science team to own pricing experimentation and strategy for Consumer & Business products. You will design pricing tests, build models, and communicate findings to executives and cross-functional leaders.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to create a pricing roadmap and priority list, while developing data pipelines that power pricing analytics with robust craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data science focusing on pricing experimentation and causal inference.
• 5+ years leading pricing or experimentation workstreams, including A/B tests and predictive models.
• Proficient in SQL and Python or R for modeling, pipelines, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end pricing experimentation, from test design through analysis and recommendation.
• Build and refine pricing models and evaluation frameworks for pricing strategies across consumer products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to develop pricing vision, roadmap, and priorities.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data models powering pricing analytics with production-grade craftsmanship.
• Synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
