Job summary

MGM Resorts International seeks a Senior Data Scientist for Commercial Analytics to drive personalization initiatives within the Marketing organization. This hands-on role develops and deploys AI/ML models to boost guest engagement and business value, collaborating with Strategy, Engagement, Loyalty, and Product teams.

You will perform data munging, feature engineering, model tuning, deployment, A/B testing, and measurement, and present insights to business partners to guide data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• MS/PhD in CS, engineering, math, stats, OR economics or STEM preferred.
• Experience with agile-sprint-based approach preferred.
• Hospitality, retail, or customer-service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently contribute to multiple complex Data Science projects.
• Develop AI/ML models and orchestration to drive engagement and value.
• End-to-end data science tasks: munging, feature engineering, modeling.
• Hyper-parameter tuning, deployment, experiments, KPI measurement.
• Develop audience targeting docs and present insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deploy models.
• Create and maintain an A/B test framework and evaluate model quality.
