Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a data science professional to unleash the potential of clinical data assets and deliver analytics solutions across R&D. You will design prototypes, apply ML methods, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive decisions in clinical development and precision medicine.

You will lead analytics design standards, mentor junior team members, and ensure compliance with GCPs and regulatory guidelines while advancing innovative data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science or equivalent field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in R, Python or other statistical tools.
• Expert with visualization tools like Spotfire or Tableau.
• Experience with Machine Learning and advanced analytics techniques.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Connects with cross-functional teams to design work product as an analytics consultant.
• Leads design principles and standards for consistent analytics output.
• Develops prototypes, test methods and ML algorithms to drive insights.
• Supports data-driven insights for clinical development and precision medicine.
• Ensures adherence to GCPs, ICH guidelines and AbbVie SOPs.
• Coaches and mentors junior team members.
