Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a data science-focused analytics leader to unleash the full potential of its data assets in clinical development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven products, leveraging ML techniques and modern analytics to inform decision-making.

The role requires 3–5 years of analytics experience in clinical research, strong R/Python skills, and proficiency with visualization tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science or equivalent.
3–5 years of analytics experience in clinical research.
Proficiency in R or Python and data mining techniques.
Experience with ML and advanced analytics techniques.
Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Connects with cross-functional teams to design work product as an analytics consultant.
Leads and helps establish design principles and standards for consistency and UX optimization.
Develops prototypes, test methods and algorithms; applies ML/AI to insights.
Enables data-driven insights to support the clinical development continuum.
Ensures adherence to GCP, ICH guidelines, AbbVie SOPs and quality standards.
Identify business needs and support KPI/report creation; analytics coaching for juniors.
