Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science or equivalent field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of analytics-related experience in clinical research with demonstrated leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in R, Python or other statistical packages; intermediate knowledge in statistics/data mining.
• Expert proficiency with visualization tools like Spotfire, Tableau or equivalent.
• Proven expertise with ML and other advanced analytics techniques.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills; fast-paced execution experience.
• Experience in Cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect with cross-functional teams to design work product and act as analytics consultant.
• Lead and help establish design principles to ensure consistent analytics and optimized user experience.
• Develop prototypes, test methods and algorithms; leverage ML/AI to create insights.
• Enable data-driven insights to support clinical development continuum, including precision medicine.
• Ensure adherence to GCPs, ICH guidelines and AbbVie SOPs; stay updated on regulations.
• Identify business needs and support KPI/report/analysis creation.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate clinical trial progress and manage risks; apply ML to validate assumptions.
