CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to join our AI/ML leadership team. You will shape the technical vision, guide LLM-related research, and drive practical AI deployments for cyber defense at scale.

You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to build production-grade AI capabilities and contribute to safety, red-teaming, and practical AI applications across the platform.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of applied ML/research experience with demonstrated production-grade models.
• Deep expertise in LLM training or post-training deployment at scale.
• Strong technical leadership experience, including mentoring teams and driving strategy.
• Proficiency in Python, Deep Learning frameworks, and cloud technologies.
• Expert-level understanding of GPU technologies and optimisation techniques.
• Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Track record of solving complex technical challenges at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop clever, innovative AI/ML solutions for safety and cyber detection.
• Co-develop end-to-end R&D processes: data sourcing, labeling, modeling, evaluation, and engineering.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to deliver fit-for-purpose, maintainable solutions.
• Lead research in GenAI, agents/LLMs, and deployment strategies.
• Balance accuracy, efficiency, and costs in deployed models.
• Mentor Data Scientists and promote engineering excellence.
