CrowdStrike is seeking a Manager of Data Science to lead a team shaping AI-driven threat detection and security automation. You will mentor researchers, define ML strategy, and drive production-ready systems leveraging CrowdStrike’s vast security data.

You will collaborate across security research, engineering, and product to deliver impactful solutions while advancing the state of ML in cybersecurity. Remote-friendly role with global scope.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or Bachelor’s with equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data science and ML, with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Proven track record of leading ML projects from research to production deployment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and performance management.
• Establish technical standards and best practices for ML development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Define and drive the technical strategy for ML initiatives in threat detection and agentic AI for security.
• Lead ML projects from initial research through production deployment, with measurable impact.
• Plan and prioritize team roadmaps, balancing research with production ML systems.
• Stay current with ML and cybersecurity trends and evaluate new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ML with business goals.
• Partner with security experts to identify high-impact ML opportunities.
