Job summary

C CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to lead AI/ML initiatives and shape the next generation of AI/ML capabilities on a remote basis in the United States. You will drive hands-on innovation, mentor teams, and influence product decisions while collaborating with security professionals to deploy scalable GenAI solutions.

You will work on AI safety, model evaluation, and deployment strategies, shaping the technical direction and achieving high-impact outcomes in cybersecurity applications.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of applied machine learning / research experience with production-grade models.
• Deep expertise in LLM training or deployment at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop clever, innovative solutions to AI safety and cyber detection problems.
• Lead end-to-end research: data sourcing, labeling, modeling, eval, and engineering.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to build fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Drive innovation in LLM research and deployment strategies.
• Mentor Data Scientists and align technical strategy with business goals.
• Represent CrowdStrike's technical excellence through publications and talks.
