Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Data Science lead to ensure successful delivery of program- and study-level accountabilities within the Data and Statistical Sciences group. You will align DSS study teams with strategic goals and coordinate cross-functional efforts to accelerate clinical program delivery.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, use of analytics to optimize timelines, and mentoring of team members in a matrix environment. Strong communication and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years pharma/clinical research/data management/healthcare experience or 10+ years project management experience

Responsibilities

• Aligns DSS study teams with program- and study-level strategies.
• Acts as single point of contact and operational lead from DSS for assigned programs.
• Coordinates DSS study teams to meet operational objectives and timelines.
• Uses operational analytics and project management tools to optimize study execution.
• Ensures adherence to GCP, ICH guidelines, AbbVie SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Coaches and mentors team members; leads continuous improvement initiatives.
• May supervise staff or contract resources as needed.
