Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Data Science program lead to align study teams with program and study-level strategies.

You will serve as the operational lead, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with experience in pharma/clinical research and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent. Master’s preferred.
• PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate DSS study teams to meet program and study objectives.
• Lead operational efforts and manage internal/external resources for studies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with GCP, ICH, AbbVie SOPs and quality standards.
• Coach and mentor Data Science Associates, including contract resources.
• Identify issues impacting timelines or quality and propose options and solutions.
• Participate in DSS and cross-functional process improvements.
