The position emphasizes governance, analytics, and cross-functional leadership to optimize study execution while adhering to regulatory standards and AbbVie SOPs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of pharma/clinical research/data management/health care experience or 10+ years of project management experience
• Deep understanding of clinical trial processes and stakeholders; lead role experience required
• Proven cross-functional leadership; ability to influence without authority; strong communication and analytical skills
• Experience coaching/mentoring, coordinating study teams, and driving process improvements

Responsibilities

• Align DSS study teams with program- and study-level strategies and governance
• Serve as the single point of contact and operational lead from DSS for assigned programs
• Engage global cross-functional teams to meet objectives and timelines
• Use operational analytics and project management tools to optimize study execution
• Ensure adherence to GCP, ICH, AbbVie SOPs and regulatory standards; support inspections
• Oversee vendor relationships and provide performance feedback
• Coach and mentor team members and contribute to their development
• Lead DSS and cross-functional innovation and process improvements
• Identify training needs and facilitate training for DS roles
• May supervise staff or contract resources
