• Proven track record owning team delivery: roadmap, capacity, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Data and ML Engineers: hiring, coaching, performance management, career development.
• Own delivery for the team’s roadmap and commitments; remove blockers.
• Enforce engineering standards across data/ML systems: testing, observability, runbooks, SLAs.
• Own on-call and incident response; drive reliability and cost improvements.
• Balance pipeline work with platform investments; collaborate with product and leadership.
• Contribute hands-on when needed: architecture review, critical code, MLflow lifecycle.
