Job summary

Truist is seeking a data and AI risk management professional to oversee risk across data platforms, architecture, and AI initiatives. You will deliver credible challenge and independent risk assessment for first-line partners while staying current on emerging AI risks and regulatory developments.

You will collaborate with 1LOD and business units, drive governance enhancements, and ensure effective issue management and reporting under the EDRO program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required in technology, data, business or finance.
• 3+ years of banking/technology/risk management experience.
• 3+ years in data management, governance, analytics, testing or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Drives successful execution of the EDRO Coverage and Operating Model with risk advisory and independent risk assessment.
• Engages with key business partners to ensure program requirements are understood and met.
• Contributes to the EDRO strategic and operational plans.
• Ensures adherence to laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Supports data risk reporting and metrics across the enterprise.
• Promotes a strong risk culture and proactive remediation accountability.
• Provides effective challenge on data processes before 3LoD validation.
• Advises on data risk controls and coordinates with 1LOD partners.
