Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years in banking, technology, operations or risk management.
• Experience with AI lifecycle governance and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of AI regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
• Strong business acumen, problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with leadership.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality executive work.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight (LOD2) for AI risk across Truist Technology and units.
• Serve as SME and steward of AI Risk Framework for identification and mitigation.
• Assess maturity and adequacy of AI controls to balance growth and risk.
• Foster proactive risk culture with risk teams and partners; interface with leaders.
• Review outcomes of first-line risk program execution and challenge results.
• Monitor regulatory, legal and audit matters; embed AI risk in policies.
• Lead complex initiatives; provide informal leadership in matrix environments.
• Bridge business, tech and control functions; advisory and challenge roles.
• Ensure AI policies are followed and regulatory standards met.
• Evaluate AI Use Cases with risk SMEs and classify risk levels.
• Improve tools and methods to measure and monitor AI risk.
